Dr. Sonia Kaur-Singh graduated from Boston University in 1998 and has been practicing dentistry since then, bringing over 28 years of clinical experience. She has proudly served the Warren community throughout her career.
Dr. Sonia remains committed to excellence in patient care by regularly participating in continuing education courses and staying current with state-of-the-art techniques. Her focus is on ensuring patients receive comprehensive, modern, and high-quality dental treatment. As a reflection of her expertise and dedication, she has been credentialed as an Associate Fellow by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Known for her integrity and patient-centered approach, Dr. Sonia is dedicated to providing treatment that prioritizes her patients’ long-term oral health and overall well-being. She believes in creating a comfortable and supportive environment where patients feel informed and confident in their care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sonia enjoys spending time with her husband, Navi, and their three children, Grace, Sharon, and Neil. She also enjoys playing golf and traveling.

Dr. Amit Shah has provided dental care to our patients at Your Neighborhood Dental since 2009! He grew up in Kolkata, “the city of joy”, in Eastern India. His hometown is known for its vibrant culture and enthusiastic people! Dr. Shah’s family follows a fundamental principle of Jainism, “ahimsa”, which means non-violence- through words, actions, and thoughts. This principle guides him in his work and life, which shines through in his calm demeanor and non-judgmental nature.
Dr. Shah’s dental journey was inspired by his father, who was the only general dentist in their town that did difficult oral surgeries. He began assisting his father with dental procedures when he was in high school, and he never looked back! In 2004 he achieved his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from India. He then came to the USA and completed his Master of Science in Clinical Dentistry (MS) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, AL in 2007. He graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2009, and then joined us here in Commerce Township, MI! We are so happy to have had Dr. Shah leading our dental team for over 10 years!
Outside of work, Dr. Shah loves spending time with his wife, Ritu, and his two young children, Siddarth and Aarohi. He also enjoys listening to music, traveling, and community service!
Dr. Blazo is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who takes pride in helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. He believes dentistry should be both pain-free and stress-free, and he is committed to creating a comfortable environment where patients feel heard, respected, and at ease. Building lasting relationships with patients is at the core of his approach, along with delivering the highest quality care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Originally from Northville, Michigan, Dr. Blazo earned his Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University before going on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health.
Outside of the office, Dr. Blazo enjoys golfing, working out, and cheering on Detroit sports teams.
Andrew was born within the Chesapeake Bay, along the eastern border of Virginia in 1970. His dental interests began in 1976 when his glasses and teeth arrived. Andrew’s father was an electrical engineer in Cincinnati and Baton Rouge. Andrew’s mother was in banking in Cincinnati and involved in hurricane Katrina efforts in the gulf. His brother was the general manager of a casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Andrew’s passion for dentistry has surpassed 45 years. During high school he was involved in the activity of seniors in a retirement community. His education has been in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Ann Arbor.
Andrew is an advanced qualified person with a restorative background in Ohio, he graduated in 1993, and practices periodontal dental hygiene here in Michigan since 1998. Positivism is part of his daily life and he enjoys coming to work. He loves animals, big 10 football, music, golf, and aspires to travel. Andrew has brought enthusiasm to the YND team since 2023.
Navneet earned her degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2018 and has been a key member of the team since 2020. She is deeply passionate about her work and enjoys a vibrant life outside the clinic. Navneet loves traveling, cooking, and reading, but her greatest joy is spending time with her husband, Harpreet, and their children, Uday and Gurnoor.
